A second later, Rowan shifted his gaze to Kara. "Please remember our agreement carefully. Make sure everything stays under control."
Kara tilted her head slightly. "It's easy for me to keep my word, Sir. Just make sure your future granddaughter-in-law carries out her mission well."
The corners of Rowan's lips twitched. Without many words, he left the cafeteria.
"Don't elderly people need to say goodbye before leaving?" Louis said while poking his chin with his finger. "The kind grandfather has left several times without saying goodbye. Is it because we are younger than he is?"
"Maybe he's too busy, Louis," Emily shook her head slowly. "Her mind must have been so full that he forgot to say goodbye."
Kara smiled wryly. Her children were too innocent to understand the meaning of hatred. They didn't even understand that lunch was actually a form of insult and warning.
"Little Bees, how about we go see Grandma now?" Kara tried to divert the twins
