Chapter 107. The Mocking

Upon spotting the entire family enjoying the pool, Gwen's smile grew. She waved back when Rafaella motioned her to join them. 

When Mrs. Jones discovered what had occurred to what Rafaella was carrying, she suggested, "Next time, honey, when you sense something weird about yourself, you should seek a checkup straight away before taking any additional measures to prevent bad things from happening." 

Rafaella wrinkled her nose and stared intently at her husband. 

Alexus defended himself, "It wasn't me. I didn't recount what happened." 

"Do you two intend to continue keeping it a secret? Mrs. Jones spoke up. "How did you get there to consider getting a checkup? The most important time of a woman's pregnancy is the early weeks. Miscarriages were frequent during the time." 

"Mom, I appreciate your helpful counsel," Rafaella muttered. 

"Yeah. Anyway, you two still have a lot of opportunities. You'll have a lot more babies."
