Davina’s Pov:-

This can’t be happening, I can’t believe this. April is his child? Oh god!

I quickly turned back and looked at Arthur, he was still talking to the person on the phone. I gulped hard and spun around, I can’t let him see this. If he discovers who her father is, then, I am sure how he’ll react. He will never let her stay here and I am 100% sure that he would put her in the orphanage.

No! No! I can’t let him do that.

I licked my dry lips in tension and glanced at the person in front of me. He was staring at me with a confused expression on his face, “Um… Did Arthur ask for this file?” I asked looking at the person.

He nodded his head in response, “Okay, give it to me, I will hand it over to Arthur.” I said with a smile on my face. I looked at him and noticed that suspicious evident in his eyes. I glanced back, “Look, he’s busy… and angry at a person at the phone,” I said and turned back to look at the person in front of me.
