“I need answers...” Kaillen’s voice broke as he spoke. His sorrow was very much evident in his tone of voice. “Tell me... what happened to my son, detective? How did this happen to him?”

“Mr. Ford, we want you to know that we are going to do our best to get to the bottom of this,” Detective Rodriguez patted Kaillen’s back. “Right now, there are two possible scenarios we’re looking into,” he began explaining, choosing words that could easily make Kaillen understand. “First, since the victim’s car is brand new, there’s a chance that the explosion could be due to the car’s factory defect. This rarely happens, but in this case, it’s very much likely. Second, someone might have tampered with the car’s machinery, intentionally causing the explosion. But right now, we feel like it’s the first one because we didn’t see anything that’s tempered with the car’s machinery, and we also didn’t see bomb remnants or anything...”
