Epilogue

After Ashley’s death, all the evidence gathered by Justin, with the help of Zayden and Carter, slowly unfolded before the world.

Zayden introduced himself to everyone as the CEO of Ember Prime, and as he did so, he recounted what had happened to him... and how he was attempted to be killed by the father-son duo, David and Kean, along with Kean’s friend Albert.

Everyone learned Layla Ford’s true colors... how she became greedy—how she schemed to claim land owned by others for her personal gain. She portrayed that all the land where her projects stood had been legally purchased, even though it wasn’t true... even though many lives were lost just because they wanted to own the land. Kaillen, unaware of these activities, was proven innocent of any wrongdoing, so she remained a part of De Ford Builds while Layla was ousted and imprisoned.

In addition to her corruption, Layla’s long deception of Kaillen and everyone else in their lives was exposed—how she falsely claimed
