“Stacey, why are you working for him?” asked Blake.

“I need the job. It pays well.” she lied. She can’t keep the eye contact so her eyes went down to her plate. She is not used to lying but she can’t tell him the truth.

He sighed. “Well I have to agree that it is better than singing at the bar. My only concern is the way he looks at you. I don’ trust him a bit.” Blake said with knitted brows before glancing at the table where Nick and his date are.

She also looked at their table but only for a few seconds. She saw that the woman’s hand is on Nick’s cheek and she seems to be pacifying him.

He is not only high-handed! He is also a womanizer! What a cheater! If only Heather treats me like a sister and doesn’t put me in trouble, then I would tell her that her arrogant boyfriend is here with another woman! She thought.
