Chapter 58

“What?!” exclaimed Stacey and Nick just sighed heavily.

“Let’s go honey. We can talk later.” he said as Billy waved at them.

“NO! I won’t live with you Nick!”

“We are not going to discuss this here honey.” he said with finality. He pulled her by holding her hand.

They sat on the back while Billy is on the driver’s seat. She then thought that he was probably right. She can’t have Billy hear what she wanted to tell him so she just sat in silence. Several times Nick attempted to take her hand but she got it back. She finally gave in when he didn’t stop trying.

The two men talked about trivial things. Billy tried to have a small talk with her too but Nick said he better focus on the road and stop looking at her through the rear view mirror. Billy just chuckled while she threw Nick a glare which the latter just ignor
