Chapter 33
Remembering what had gone down, she lunged at the table with clenched fists in a bid to exact her anger, and instead of curtailing the anger she felt, or even give her relief from it, the punch she had given the table made her yelp in pain.
“Ouch!” She screamed out loud, hot painful tears cascading down her eyes without warning. Unluckily for her, she had hit the sharp edge of the desk, and had in the process, sustained an injury on her knuckles.
Sighing and cursing Tade, she stood up and looked around to see if there was a first aid kit anywhere, but there was none in the office. She wiped her tears with the palm of her left hand, and cursed again, but at herself this time, for using her right hand to lunge a punch on the desk which was the same hand she used for practically everything.
