Beg for Your Life

I woke up from my deep slumber when the alarm clock went off. Within my bed, a warm, comfortable haven, I began to move and stretch. When the alarm went off, I rolled over and hurled my arm at it, knocking it off the side table and onto the floor, where it cracked; the number 6 slowly started to fade.
Sadly, it seems that I have woken up too early yet again. I’d like to fall back to sleep, but it’s too late; every time I try to do so, something distracts me.
I get up from my bed with a heavy heart and move to the other side of my room, where my phone is charging. I do this so that I have to force myself to get up when the alarm goes off, but it is now useless to do this. It makes a really gratifying click as I turn off the ringer. I leave my room as I stretch my arms in the air.
The outside is totally dark. I turn to gaze out the windows, but I can hardly see anything there. Even the streetlights are not turned on. I wash my hands
