Upon hearing Melody’s words, the doctor was taken aback, staring at Melody and Gretchen in disbelief. “What... What exactly are you planning to do?” he exclaimed in astonishment.

Gretchen said contemptuously, “I give you the money, and you just need to do the procedure for me. As for what I want to do, it’s none of your business, and I don’t need to tell you.”

“Get out!” The doctor angrily pointed at the door and said, “I won’t do the procedure for you. Nor will I take the money. Get out of here!”

Before Melody and Gretchen could say anything else, the doctor pushed them out of the office and slammed the door.

Being treated like this, Gretchen was furious. When she was about to pound on the door and argue with the doctor, Melody stopped her.
