“See you later.”

After ending the call, Estelle attempted to reach Mr. Mysterious once again. However, to her disappointment, he still didn’t answer. Resigned, she handed the phone back to the driver.

“Have you found someone to pay the fare for you?” the driver asked.

“Yes,” Estelle said with a nod. “He will pay you the fare when I arrive at the destination. Don’t worry.”

“Okay.”

Twenty minutes later, the taxi stopped at the gate of the Rose Garden.

Leaning against his car, Justin had been waiting for a few minutes.

When he saw the taxi, he walked over and handed the driver a note. “Thank you. Keep the change.”

The driver took the money happily and drove away after Estelle exited the taxi.

“Miss Hudson, is your incision still painful?” Justin asked as he took Estelle gently by the arm to help her.

“No. It doesn’t hurt anymore,” Estelle answered. Suddenly, she looked at him and asked in surprise, “Mr. Roberts, how did you kn
