Chapter 94
Hephaestus POV
Pure.
I smiled at the metal in my hand. It was beautiful and pure, the red light was brighter than it was earlier. That showed it was better. But I wanted the best, the best for her.
I placed the metal in the water, cooling it. The smoke that came out was strong and it filled the forge. I looked round the forge and I smiled.
She wanted to visit that place. She wanted to see that side of me. The forge.
I remembered how she had felt when I told her she couldn't come to the forge. I had been making this for a few days, and I was finally satisfied with it. She would be excited when she finds out.
I allowed it to cool in the water for a while. She would be in the kitchen.
I should show her.
I walked to the flight but I stopped sensing a presence in my castle. Flicked my eyes around trying to figure out who in the world had come again.
It wasn't human. Mother wouldn't come visiting either.
