Susie’s POV

Eating my food made my mom constantly look at me with an evil eye. I eat with my hands, and she has an issue with that even though for years I was a rogue with her. Mom met her mate when we were simply trying to survive, and she was worse and more stubborn than me. I have had a very creative life, to put it in a positive way.

“You okay there, Neo?” I asked him through our mindlink because he just stopped eating when he was starving last I checked, which was less than 3 minutes ago.
