PENELOPE ELEANOR 

"I'm going to school and... I don't need a companion," I bid him farewell when I saw him sitting in the living room while drinking his favorite dark coffee.

I suddenly felt a thorn in my chest when I saw Kelly as well sitting beside Kendy. She is eating her ice cream even though it's still early in the morning. 

Kendy looked in my direction when he heard my trembling voice even though he was not yet done sipping his coffee.

He brought down his coffee mug and looked at me with a confused look. 

"Why? The school is far from here and you still haven't eaten any breakfast yet." Kendy stood up and walked in my direction.

Kendy suddenly touched my cheeks and stared at my watering eyes.

Do I need to feel happy because he is doing all of this in front of Kelly?
