PENELOPE

Why is he sitting and facing me so close? I suddenly feel uncomfortable with his gaze, especially when I see the sadness in his eyes.

His eyes look familiar. I think I saw it before.

Kendy may have noticed my strange gaze at him, so he slowly moved far away from me. I followed his eyes, but he could not meet my gaze again.

Did I suddenly do something wrong to him?

"I hope you are fully ready for our wedding day. If you don't need anything from me, I will leave your room now. Good evening again, Penelope."

For the last time, he looked in my direction again and smiled, but there were different things I saw in his eyes. He was already gone inside my room, but his face was still dominating my mind.

He looks really sad, but I don't exactly know his reasons.

Do I need to ask him about what I saw in him? What if he didn't answer me properly?

Tsk! I should just sleep now. He should not be the one inside my mind right now!
