Chapter 100. He Came That Night

Filippa POV

An enticing aroma suddenly drifted into my nose, rousing me from sleep. “Baby, wake up. You haven't eaten all day.” Wyatt's voice suddenly sounded next to my ear.

My brows knitted in confusion. Shouldn't Wyatt be at home or work? Why was he here? Am I dreaming? However, upon recalling Wyatt's words, I understood immediately.

Wyatt must have left his work to feed me. Isn't he the type of person who puts my needs above everything? I opened my eyes, and my eyes fell on his impeccable, handsome face. “Hubby,” I called softly and rubbed my eyes languidly, yawning. I lightly pulled the blanket over me and tried to sit up.

Wyatt reached his hand out and supported me to sit up comfortably. He reached out his palm toward my forehead before using his other palm to touch his forehead. A few seconds later, he dropped both hands and kissed my lips softly. “You're fine.” He stated, and I nodded my head before lowering it.
