Chapter 84. Birthday Party

On my way home from the city market, I met with something strange at my doorstep.

He was waiting innocently as though we never had a clash in the past.

He smiled a hypocritical smile when I drove into my garage. He stopped smiling immediately after I'd stepped out of my car to his view.

"Did something happen?" He asked feigning pity or something like it and I ignored him.

Of course he knew I would.

I walked passed him to the door to unlock it.

"I know why I came here, talk to me please." He begged.

I remained silent, opened the door, and as soon as I stepped in, he made to join me.

"Have you lost your mind?" I hurled at him.

"Listen to me, Jasmine, I know I have wronged you but I'm sorry, I've apologized a thousand times."

"Are you sure it's up to that yet? And, did you say a thousand times? When? Get out of my house now!"
