Chapter 17

Vicky’s POV

[A few years later]

“Sid! Come downstairs and bring your brothers with you please, dad will be home any minute!”

“Okay, mom!”

As you can see, Sidney is still the perfect child even at 21 years. The same could not be said for her brothers. Only 6 months after our reunion Devin proposed and of course, I accepted without hesitation. We got married a month later and our wedding was a smaller ceremony because we were in a hurry. I was pregnant. A few months later we got the news that there were two babies, not one. And add some more months and we got two little boys who looked exactly like their father and even now, at almost 7 years they are the spitting image of Devin. And not just in looks either. They have his mischievous character as well. But I can’t say I regret anything. I love my family just the way it is.

A few minutes later our children rush from upstairs and immediately start to help me prepare the table for dinner.
