The walk home in the calm early day sun was exactly what she needed. Everything seemed surreal and dreamy, and she needed the walk to wake her up and accept this was real. Muffin practically devoured her on sight and only made it as far as the grass by the door before releasing a night’s worth of doggy gifts.
