Chapter 30. The Janitor’s Closet

The news that Ace and I were finally together spread like wildfire.

After my dad caught Ace and me making out in the foyer of Ace’s house, he didn’t hesitate to complain about it to my mother.

My siblings found out soon after. The whole family—except for my father, who immediately went to sulk in his office—was overjoyed.

My younger brothers were especially excited, taking the news to mean that Ace was going to be coming over even more, if that were even possible. He was already at my house every day.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about people at school finding out, but when we stepped into the hallway on Monday morning, Ace decided he wanted everyone to know and smashed his lips against mine.

It was an extremely possessive and territorial act, and I probably should have been disgusted by it, but hell if I didn’t love it.
