"You aren't ready yet?" My sister asked as she barged into my room. Hopefully expecting me to be dressed for the pre-prom party. She wasn't going with me since it was a high school thing but she was making sure I was dressed for it. My mood was changed. The energy wasn't just there and I lost interest. She was all hyped about getting me to look pretty and amazing. She was being a big sister.

I wasn't interested in going to the party hosted at Anabel's house. Some might say because I despise Anabel but that wasn't my reason. Matthew and I weren't cool and he was going to be there since the whole class was invited, including friends of friends. Meeting him there might ruin the energy to vibe and party.
