“You are carrying whose child?” I asked, getting up from where I was seated in shock.

“I’m carrying your child Peter, your baby is right here in my belly,” She said, rubbing her hand on her flat tummy.

Everyone else was as shocked as I was and my mind was flying in different directions.

Could she really be carrying my child? I asked myself subconsciously.

That can’t possibly be true, Maria would never make the mistake of becoming pregnant cause she values her body more than anything in the world.
