I couldn't point my finger on it, but something in the pack felt different after we returned.

Of course, Henry went back to being MIA most of the time. And he has missed training for the fourth time in a row since we were back. When I asked mum about it, she said he was busy with other things.

"But he is never too busy to train." I whined.

I was really in the mood to hit something, or someone. Most preferably someone.

I have so much energy I wanted to expel and hitting a dummy isn't working. I know because I have tried.

This doesn't happen to be because of a certain, tall, dark haired alpha, does it?

I growl a no at the annoying voice in my head that just likes to mention Xander. Every second of the day for whatever reason.

"Yes, I know darling. I'll lay him off other responsibilities when he is done for today."

I missed the rest of the words she said after 'darling'.
