Karen's POV:

"Do not defend him, Jon! He said I had until morning to decide!"

"Were you going to go with him?"

"No, but I was going to convince him to stay."

"You know he could never have stayed, Karen."

"What do you know about Jon?"

"I know about his brother."

"Camilla mentioned that."

"She had no right to betray his confidence."

"She didn't betray him, Karen, she defended him and I'm glad she did at least now I understand things a little better. I still don't like him but I have a brother so I can sympathize with his situation."
