Ella's POV:

I gave him my all: body, spirit, soul all off on empty promises of love and marriage and how he would forever love and cherish me. I believed and trusted him blindly.

Everything was going so well or so I thought until I lost my parents in a ghastly RTA (Road Traffic Accident). To make things worse, I was in that car with them.

"When did you say we get to meet this Colin?" My dad had asked, he was driving with my mom in the front seat next to the driver's seat.

"Tell Steve Harvey, ion want her..." I pretended to not hear the question he asked, humming to Future's Maybach.

I was a big fan of Future, something my mom hated. She wondered why I would like someone who disrespected women so much he had to sing about them every time they called it quits.

In my defense, I would say, "They knew before trying to get into a relationship with him."

"Dear, she has her earpiece on, maybe she did
