Reporter's POV:

"How can I be so sure it's half of the money since I never knew what you guys agreed on?" She asked.

"I promise you, I gave you half the amount."

"I do not believe you," she replied, shaking her head in disapproval.

This was surely not how I hoped my evening would turn out.

"Even if I didn't, I would not be wrong. I did all the work, from meeting him to the interview to negotiating for the money. You never did anything, just sit down and complain."

"What you seem to forget is that you would not have that work if not for me. Yet, you sit on that chair, right across from me, look me in the eye, and say you did all the work. You would not have that if I didn't show up with all that information."

"Look, I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sure there are other ways to settle this."

"Of course, there is. I want the money, all of it."
