"Karthik!" I whispered.

"Divya, what happened to you? Why are you crying?" He asked, looking at me with panicked eyes. I burst out crying, seeing his care for me. I felt so dizzy. I leaned against his shoulder.

"My head hurts, Karthik," I told him. Karthik gave me a shocked expression.

"I'll take you home," He said and held my shoulder.

"No Karthik, I don't wanna go home. Please take me somewhere," I told him while crying. I don't want to go home because I don't want pari maa to see me like this.

"Okay, don't cry. I'm here for you. I don't like to see you cry, please don't cry," He wiped my tears. I was touched by his gentleness.

"Just one minute!" Karthik said and took his mobile out from his pocket and send mail to the office, that he was not going to attend office today.
