I closed my eyes and fought with my mind. I ran my hands through my thick hair several times. Never had I felt this heartbroken ever. I thought everything is finished. But God has planned something different for us.

Flashback (New York trip)

After we reached New York, the next day, we went to the fashion show. Divya was getting ready for the show, and I was talking with some business partners there. Suddenly, I got a notification on my phone. I opened the message and played the video. The video showed how Karthik proposed to Divya, and she happily accepted him and hugged him. When I saw that video of Divya and Karthik, my heart broke into a million pieces. I internally died at that moment. I felt betrayed and hurt. Even after she promised me, she went to meet that b@st@rd because, in the videos, I saw her heart locket chain. I clearly remember that I gave her that chain after she promised me.
