Chapter 47. Almost a Quickie

When Belle was crossing the road with Randy again, she had a smile on her face. She was happy about not having to ride with Nathan but she was smiling also because she found it funny how fast Randy had replied 'no' to Nathan's question.

"Why did you say no so fast like that?" Belle asked laughing because she found it funny but Randy didn't.

"I don't want to die." She heard his reply and stopped laughing.

"What?"

"Mr. Larkson will kill me if I ever call his woman my girlfriend." He said lastly before opening the car door for her.

Randy knew he didn't dare accept it when someone called Ben's woman his. He didn't think of ever doing it with the other women who he knew his boss had spent a night or so with and he wasn't going to play with his life by doing it with Belle, not after seeing how serious his boss was with her.
