At Ken’s mansion everywhere was lively and bubbling with live music and innumerable guests that hovered all over the place and exchanged pleasantries with the bride and the groom, as well as friends and family.
Jacy was tucked to a corner, observing as Ken was exchanging pleasantries with friends and associates when Blueeyes appeared at her side, “Hi mom, I am pleased to see you,” he said and hugged her.
“Oh my goose, that is my baby,” Jacy said, catching him in a hug and stroking his long hair. “Where have you been? I have been on the lookout for you, hoping I would see you?”
Blueeyes rolled his eyes as his countenance fell greatly and his face bowed.
“What is it, son?” Jacy asked, knowing either Ken or Mrs. Fanny must have rattled his cage, “Talk to me, big daddy. Did anybody pull you up a wall?” she asked, stroking his hair to pacify him before she squatted to him to notice he was already all tears, “Come on wipe your tea
