What a Surprise

On a special Monday morning, Ken knocked on the door of Mrs. Fanny. And as soon as Mrs. Fanny opened the door to her room, Ken and Blueeyes walked in.

“Good morning, wife,” said Ken, forcing to keep smiling and shooting the same onto her face.

Blueeyes cleared her throat, folded his arms and rolled his eyes at Mrs. Fanny who was playing and singing for the twins.

She raised a brow. As though she sensed that all wasn’t well, she smacked her lips, swallowed hard and snorted.

“Good morning, husband. I suppose you had a wonderful night,” she said and stole a glance at Blueeyes who was unusually smiling and stroking his hair.

Mrs. Fanny sensed danger but she was going to keep bold and be at her best emotion, at least the look on her face was encouraging.

Blueeyes could go to hell.

“Oh yes,” Ken replied, “I did and what about you?” he shrugged to keep his smile and he asked, “And the twins? What about them?” he sniffed and br
