Kiara’s POV

I cross my arms, staring at the dark Goddess with pity and spite. I have had it with their entitled behavior and thinking only they matter! They can only exist when we do, and Keres is no different. She exists because of the shadows that dwell in us all, and I am not going to excuse what I did! It was necessary for the continued peace and thriving amongst my people, both of them, and everyone else in our weird and chaotic supernatural world.

“I did what was necessary. Do you have a problem with that?” I ask her in a deadly calm voice. The aura I let loose right now even has Havoc whining. I put my hand in his fur. I. Am. Done! She can scream and throw a tantrum as much as she’d like, but this is going to stop now.

“You don’t even know what you have done.” Keres says, her voice hoarse from all the energy she used to get us moved to her realm. “You pushed the balance. You threw it off. You have interfered in matters that…” I hold up my hand.
