I dashed out of my bedroom, rushing outside while Cole swore at me at the way I insulted Aria.

“Cole, now is not the time. I don’t know how it slipped from my lips. Believe me, it felt like someone forced those words out of my mouth. I never meant it to sound like that. I will talk to Aria later and resolve the misunderstanding. You’d better get ready to take over because things have gotten out of control.”
