Chapter 68
Putting it in front of Fanny, she smiled softly and picked up her fork to give it to Fanny.
“Okay. Then you know what you need to do. You need to get as many nutrients as possible, starting with this fruit salad.”
Taking a fork from her best friend, Fanny takes the small bowl as Christian apologizes and leaves the two of them alone, quietly closing the door behind them.
There was silence for a moment, Rosabella didn’t want to force a conversation while Fanny was lost in thought.
“You...” Fanny began, voice hesitant, causing Rosabella, who was fixing the curtains, to turn to face her.
“Huh?”
Fanny put down her fork and bit her lip, looking paler than before. She didn’t want to talk about it, but she couldn’t let it go.
It had been on her mind ever since she heard the gunshots and although she knew the outcome wouldn’t change, she at least needed to know.
“You... know.. what happened to his body?” She finally spoke.
