“What? Your biggest investor is your boss?” said Venom when I told her about what happened that morning.

I nodded. “Yeah. I was actually surprised too. Is it really true that he uses the name ‘Dylan Jacobs’?”

“Yes, he uses that whenever he’s dealing with businessmen. However, he uses Vincent Hastings more often.”

“Really? I didn’t know that.”

“Maybe he just didn’t tell you. By the way, Miss Sophie. How did you feel when you saw him again?”

I quickly averted my gaze from Venom. “N-Nothing. I didn’t feel anything...”

“Really?”

I sighed.

“Fine, I missed him too. And I admit that he looked handsome a while ago.”
