She knew it was her fear.
And she has so many reasons to be fearful of him.
So many that they could get her killed, if revealed.
"I...I wanted to say... to say something... to you," she spoke finally. She was finding an opportunity to start a conversation and she hesitated to be the first because of that frown that has been on his forehead after attending that call. She thought he must be in a bad mood and maybe it can all be released on her if she set him off.
"And that is?"
"Thank you for all you did for me today."
Roshanay traced a small smile appearing on his lips as his features softened.
"Maybe," he stared at her face before looking around the car and uttered "mere thank you isn't enough,"
