Every one in the household heard of Pablo's return. Quickly, Fred rushed to open the door for him. "Thank God you're back." He looked behind Pablo, he didn't see Anastasia with him. "Where's she?" He asked.

"She's still in Chicago." He replied.

"Why didn't you bring her back with you?" He asked, shutting the door behind him.

He was silent for a while. "She wants me to see father first. How is he?" He asked, referring to his father.

"His condition is critical. He's refused to take any thing for days now. He said he won't have any thing else when you come. He's alive is because of you, he wants to see you."
