Chapter 80. Delusion
"Now?"
"You may go, ma'am. We will accompany you," he said.
"No. Don't dare."
"We can't let you go alone," he spoke. She can't go anywhere alone. Shehryaar had made sure of it. Even in his absence, he was keeping an eye on her. He had appointed bodyguards who would follow her every time, everywhere she goes. They would inform him about her whereabouts.
"I can go and don't follow me. That's an order," she replied, and they exchanged helpless glances before she walked away.
As she strolled around, she found the place awfully quiet. Rather, the whole floor was silent. There was no one. Not a single being. A frown marred her brows.
She spotted an elevator and decided to go to another floor when another guard came in front of her.
He looked at her and then stepped aside, letting her go. "You may go, madam," he said, giving her the way.
