Chapter 273. Numb

One group rushed to the back, another ran to the left, while the second last group went to the right. The major chunk of the subgroup remained with Shehryaar and Moosa, entering the building from the front. The subgroups were formed in emergency situations to counterattack from all sides.

Each subgroup had its leader to guide them while they worked to find ways through which they could enter other than the main entrance. That often helped in gaining control over the enemy. As they were nearing the building, another shot was heard. Shehryaar rushed forward, the scene now clear to his eyes. Irtaza was shot in his back, and Zahra was standing there in front of him, frozen.

He noticed the source of the bullet and saw a group of men coming out of the building with guns in their hands, pointed directly at Shehryaar, Moosa, and their men.
