Chapter 85. Saved

Several minutes had passed and now Zahra was calmed. She felt safer in his presence. She had never experienced anything like that before. She didn't know what they would have done if he wasn't here on time. She stood in a secluded area where no one could spot her otherwise she would have run inside the building. She had made a mental note to never go there.

It was the first time she had stood at that place since she joined the university. The place was in a corner and a shadow, and she wanted some loneliness so she stood there instead of her usual location. Her body still showed aftershocks. Her hands were shaking slightly but it was much reduced now. His bone-crushing hug and his apologies made everything go in the back of her mind. His presence made her calmer. She knew he wouldn't let anyone hurt her. He will protect her as he promised.

But she forgot that she now only needed to protect herself from him because if he came to know about the games she was playing with
