Chapter 43. My Boy

Precious had promised heaven and earth he wouldn't work himself to a sick bed. Intentional phrasing. Kamil and the Doc had identical raised eyebrows.
Kamil made Precious promise he wouldn't work himself to stress: he should look after his health. Just because he is recovered doesn't mean he should go downhill again.
No coffee (Precious had looked aghast as if Doc had told him no water), three square meals a day, no missing one (he could add brunch if his energy is so inclined) regular water and fruit intake (he is ahead of the mark but watermelon isn't the only fruit available), no skipping his medicine.
Swear to Goddess, Precious had said "Cross my heart and hope to die," and in unison as if sharing the same brain cell, Kamil and the Doc had replied with,
"That's what we're hoping to avoid."
It's to fix a few things: dot some i's, cross some t's, sign something here, read something here, Precious had reassured. The
