Chapter 99. Renata and David's Debate

Renata trembled when she saw the photo David sent her. The photo shows Danas and Davina with two men.

David's first message scared Renata, followed by a message that made her body tremble even more. She knew instantly that if David was in Indonesia, he must have known she had taken the video footage.

"You think taking the video will change the fact that you did it?"

"Tsk, you may now be having fun with the man you killed her brother but do you think it will last long, Renata? It won't. Your former best friend is discussing how Amaira's death unfolded, you know that right?"

Melvin, who was currently together with Renata, saw that pale expression and asked,

"Are you okay, babe?" Melvin asked, but there was no answer from the woman in question. "Babe?" Melvin called Renata back until she realized she was being called.

"Yes, why?" asked Renata with a trembling voice.

Melvin sighed. "Are you okay? You look pale. Maybe you shouldn't have co
