Randall had papers in his hands. He followed Randle’s gaze to Alex. He brushed Randle’s hair and kissed his brow. He pinched its nose but did not carry him. Randle also didn’t come to him and simply stood there watching him.

“It’s great to see you, big boy. How are you doing?” His formerly soft eyes are now beaming. I saw the dark circles around the rims of his eyes. Is he having trouble sleeping? He now glanced at me after he asked Randle.

“I will send money to your bank account for Randle. Please, don’t reject that. Even there, I can be a father to Randle.” He never looked at me again and just talked to Randle. When he finished, he kissed Randle’s forehead and started walking. When he was away, I was just staring behind him. His body had changed so much, I didn’t even notice it.
