Chapter 52

Jason’s POV

Jason noticed that Kitty was withdrawn after he came back late last week. He even tried to talk to her in the office, but she didn't give him the time. She was always busy, even when she wasn't doing anything. Then she would come back home and go straight to her bedroom.

Jason thought they were moving forward, but he wasn't sure anymore. She had left the bedroom they were sharing. He even tried to touch her yesterday, but she didn't allow him. Jason didn't know how to approach this matter; he didn't want her to go back to being icy and cold. He thought they had already passed that level. He wasn't sure what made her change her attitude towards him. When she comes back today from work, he plans on sitting her down and asking her why she was withdrawn—maybe he did something to offend her. He needed her to tell him so he could apologize.
