Chapter 41

She just got back from her evening strolling that she did everyday ever since she reached 9th month. With the way she has been feeling lately, she knew anytime soon the baby would arrive. Adil had noticed that and he has been keeping a close eye on her. They don't talk much but he has been so helpful to her. He made sure she lacked nothing from what she needed for the baby’s arrival to what she wanted to eat. He called her all the time to check up on her whenever he was at work. They didn't say much but she enjoyed every conversation they've had together.

She entered her room and settled down on the beanbag chair she asked him for last month. She closed her eyes feeling her back aching and her swollen legs getting sore. She had completely changed. She gained weight, her neck especially and she hated that. Her face didn't change much and she was glad about that. She wouldn't want her pointed nose to grow bigger and flat.
