“How’s your family Adil? You have completely forgotten about us.”
“They're all fine, mommy. I have been a little busy with work that’s why I don't call often now. I’m so sorry, in sha Allah I will try my very best to be calling you more often.” She heaved a sigh over the phone and smiled. “It’s okay, do greet your wife for me please,” she said softly. “In sha Allah mommy. My regards to adila and daddy.” He finally ended the call with habiba’s mother.
He brushed his hand in his hair and sighed. She sat there looking at him. She knew he was thinking of his ex wife, habiba. It pained her to see him like that but she couldn't judge him. She wouldn't blame him for missing her. Habiba was a good person. “She's in a better place in sha Allah,” she uttered massaging his shoulders.
