Drake opened the revolving door that led to the boutique for me to go in. I sighed as I glanced at the clothes arranged in different racks at different positions.

“We have to get you a nice dress that will make you stand out, then we'll head to the salon so your hair can be taken care of.” He listed the activities for the evening which I took note of.

I wasn't looking forward to the party, but I know it was important to Dexter or he wouldn't have asked me to come along.

I wondered what could be going on with him. Sometimes, he'd show me how sweet he could be and other times, he'd act like we are complete strangers.

Gradually I was getting used to his attitude even though it was difficult.

“Let's get to it then. We don't want to waste Dexter's time.” I said sarcastically.
