Chapter 69. Special Gift

Piper’s POV

“B-but why did you buy this bus? We don’t use the bus often,” I asked, still trying to assuage my inner shock.

“Turn around,” he whispered in my ear.

I turned around and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. “This bus must be very expensive. Wouldn’t it be better to rent it instead of buying it?”

Jay placed his index and middle finger on my lips. “It’s not too expensive. You don’t have to worry. I can use this bus for office events, anyway. Trust me, I’ve calculated everything. Now sit nicely in the back seat with the twins.”

“Lily, help Madam sit down,” Jay pleaded with Lily.

“I can walk and sit by myself. I don’t need anyone else’s help,” I retorted, pretending to frown.

“Obey me,” he retorted.

Lily immediately held out her hand, and I reached her hand and walked with her to the chair at the back.

Mom and Vanessa sat together in front of the twins’ seats. Lisa sat next to Jordan. Ken sat next to Lily. Nick sat
