Jay Lee’s POV

“Sir, may I come in?” Nick called from behind the door. He rarely came this early. In just an hour, I would be in the office. Why did he decide to see me here?

“Come in,” I replied, closing the document I was reading.

“Sit down, Nick. What are you doing here so early? We can talk in the office,” I asked as I stood up and walked toward the table where I put the wine, champagne, ice cubes, and some empty glasses.

“Thank you, sir,” he replied as he took off his jacket and sat down.

“Would you like a drink?” I asked.

“Yes, sir.”

I poured a glass of red wine into two empty glasses, then gave one to Nick.

“Drink up.”

“Thank you,” he replied, finishing half the glass of wine in no time.

“What are you in such a hurry for?” I asked curiously.
