I was stunned for a moment. I blinked several times. But he was still standing in front of me, looking directly into my eyes.

I admit that I felt a little scared of them at first. We’re talking about vampires here! There’s a possibility that they might drink my blood until I die, and I know I can’t do anything about it because they’re too strong.
